The company Šindelář Spedition s.r.o. began its activity under the name Václav Šindelář at the start of 1996. During its existence the company has been developing its activities mainly in the area of road freight transport, both national and international.

At present, the company has about 320 employees and 250 articulated road trains, two thirds of which meet the EURO 5 regulations and the remaining meet the EURO 3 and EURO 2 regulations. The company also disposes of 50 truck transporters. The trucks´ brands are MAN, VOLVO, and SCANIA. Goods are transported in tarpaulin and especially refrigerated semi trailers /80-110cbm.

Transports are ensured by operators at the dispatching center of the company facility, who are in permanent contact with drivers of all vehicles by means of mobile phones and satellite monitoring. A software transport system and satellite reference system for 24 hour monitoring of vehicle positions are used to ensure high quality services. Further, our company is oriented, above all, on protection of transported consignments against theft by means of an alarm which is a part of the vehicle monitoring system and functioning on the principle of sensors detecting the opening of load space and including the monitoring of consignment transport temperature.

The company is aware of its full responsibility for transported cargo and for possible damage occurring during transport according to the CMR international treaty, for this reason we have effected a carrier liability insurance extended by theft of transported cargo. The insured sum is effected for the territory of Europe and for an amount up to 10 mil. CZK.

In order to reduce the cost of vehicle repairs and parking space rent we constructed our own object in 2001. The company facility was situated in the village of Sedlec, house number 75, and included a truck service, a car park and an office building. Due to the expansion of our company we established a new 4 hectare company facility in 2006 in Netolice, Vodňanská 533, where we have our own warehouses, an administrative building, a tank station and a service hall.
